Legal Aid

In the majority of criminal Court cases Legal Aid would be available to you. Legal Aid is funded directly by The Scottish Legal Aid Board. There are circumstances for the grant of Legal Aid which includes a calculation of your financial position and there are three main types of Legal Aid that can be granted to you which depend on the nature of the case against you.

We can advise on all aspects of Legal Aid and go through the application procedure with you to work out whether you would be eligible or we can look at other arrangements.
